Throughout my career, I have brought a data-driven mindset to organizations where marketing metrics have previously been an afterthought. By taking creative risks backed by good data, I have consistently grown my digital following and developed engaged online communities. A key to my success has been evaluating marketing tools on an ongoing basis to ensure each provides the product or insights that meet my organization's needs.
Whether it is the news, books, film, or social media, I am a voracious consumer of content. I firmly believe that the strategy used to share content matters as much as the quality of the content. This ethos has guided my work in building out robust digital programs and in my capacity working with stakeholders to manage editorial calendars that make sense for our audiences across channels. Often, I am required to take complex long-form material into an accessible web experience and then condense it into short-form content without losing the message. I love finding the right space to highlight the genius of our subject matter experts. No matter who my audience is or the platform, I aim to make whatever I share as accessible as possible.
I’m a self-taught designer with a background in large-scale silk paintings and pencil drawing. I’ve always loved beautiful packaging, glossy magazines, and brochures. The challenge of creating something beautiful on my own brings me joy. However, very little beats the fulfillment of collaborating with talented designers to turn ideas into enjoyable products and experiences that highlight our brand.
As a digital professional in non-profits, overcoming the limitations accessible tools has become a favorite challenge, particularly in web design. Boosting my language skills and understanding of good design has helped me create beautiful html first publication layouts even within the constraints of a website not best built for it.
For over 10 years I’ve cultivated a broad range of experience in digital marketing and communications. I’m passionate about taking quantitative data and turning it into engaging and beautiful online experiences. My combined love for people and making information accessible makes me a natural marketer.
